Originally from the North of the country, my early working life was with horses, and in farming in Berkshire. We made the move to North Devon in 1998, and settled raising our young family. As time went on, I started work in a school so I could be home with the children in the school holidays. I volunteered at a greyhound rescue charity, finding homes for any dogs that had retired from racing. I also started hatching and rearing quail, something the children at school enjoy. Especially when I do a video diary of the chicks! One fateful day about a year ago, I got a chance to co present a radio show.. After being initially overwhelmed by everything going on in the studio. I decided I really enjoyed myself, and after alot of thought got in touch with Tarka Radio. There I was introduced to everything to do with the radio presenting, and training began.. After several training sessions with Laszlo, I became a fully fledged DJ, and present my Sunday morning show Classic Bedrock Hits With Carole at 11am.. Love living here in beautiful North Devon with the family, and I still enjoy my quail hobby and walking our 2 greyhounds. Oh and doing my radio show.
